Mr. Abdulhameed Al Jasmi
Abdulhameed is the founding partner of AJLC. He has over 11 years of experience in corporate and litigation matters. Prior to establishing AJLC, Abdulhameed worked in the legal department of the UAE’s Road and Transportation Authority (RTA) where he helped review RTA related legislation and advised on various legal issues. Following his position at the RTA, Abdulhameed worked at the Dubai Prosecution Office before joining a local law firm in Dubai. He knows what charges would likely be treated favorably at the police or prosecution office and how to file them for the best possible outcome for the client. He also has a wealth of experience in handling various types of lawsuits, including commercial and family.

Abdulhameed studied law at the Ajman University of Science & Technology in the UAE.

Abdudlhameed is a native Arabic speaker as well as conversant in English.

Mr. Sameer Dorgham

Sameer is an advocate who has over an impressive 27 years of experience assisting clients before the courts in Egypt and the UAE. Since joining AJLC in 2016, Sameer has been handling the firm’s largest cases. He handles various types of lawsuits, including civil, commercial, and real estate. He also advises clients on matters pertaining to family law.

Sameer studied law at the University of Alexandria, Egypt, and is admitted to the Egyption Bar Association.

Sameer is a native Arabic speaker.

Ms. Palwasha Arifin

Palwasha specialises in effectively managing complex and challenging legal matters of clients, both locally and overseas. As a Client Relations Manager, she is highly experienced in handling client requirements and expectations. She diligently ensures that the protection of their business interest remains a priority under all circumstances. She is also proficient in managing large scale global projects; an expertise developed during her ten years of employment with HSBC, where she handled projects MENA and GROUP wide at their Dubai and London offices. Palwasha holds an MBA from University of Wollongong (Dubai campus).

Mr. Ahmed Shoman

Ahmed is an advocate who is experienced in civil and commercial law disputes in the UAE and Egypt. He has over 8 years of work experience, 3 of which in the UAE. Ahmed is particularly experienced in the administrative aspects and legal procedures of the UAE and is competent in dealing with courts, public prosecution office, police stations and other governmental authorities. This is an area of expertise much needed in the legal field in the UAE.

Ahmed studied law at the University of Tanta, Egypt, and is admitted to the Egyptian Bar Association.

Mr. Ahmed Hesham

Ahmed is a bilingual accountant and manages all our accounting requirements as well as assisting with our business development efforts. He has over 6 years of experience working as an accountant, 3 of which were spent in two companies in Egypt and over 3 years with AJLC. Ahmed oversees our presence on social media and establishes work relationships with entities in the UAE.

Ahmed studied accounting at the Alazhar University in Cairo, Egypt.

Ahmed is a native Arabic speaker, as well as fluent in English.

Mr. Amir Shaaban

Mr. Amir Shaaban is an Egyptian lawyer, born in 1978. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Alexandria University in the class of 2000 and is registered with the Egyptian Bar Association at the level of high appeal.
He has 23 years of experience practicing law in both the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. During his work in Egypt, he trained in major law firms before establishing his own office for 19 years. Later, he moved to work as a legal consultant at Abdulhameed Al Jasmi Advocates in the UAE.
Throughout this period, he has worked in various courts, handling civil, commercial, labor, criminal, and personal status cases. He possesses extensive experience in preparing pleadings, appeals, and defense memoranda.
Additionally, he has considerable expertise in drafting and formulating legal contracts and agreements.
